Feb. 28, 2011 New Membership Class

God has given to us two new members. I have personally known Sis. Ignacia (left) and Bro Joel for some time. They are both a joy to my heart and a blessing to the church. In this photo, Sis. Ignacia and Bro. Joel are attending the New Membership. In the center is Sis. Ida, the Sunday School Director. It is the Lord Almighty who builds His church.

I have not been to this class. But definitely have been to one before.. However, FBCDC class is probably meant for introduction for new babes in Christ as to what it is to be a Christian, knowing Christian practices, prayers, ministry, evangelism and at best basic theology..

aby...

Remember some important concepts..

GRACE-Grace perfects forever the saved one in the sight of God because of the saved one’s position “in Christ.” Grace bestows Christ’s merit and Christ’s standing forever (Romans 5:1-2; Romans 8:1; Col. 2:9-10); “for in Him all the fulness of Deity dwells in bodily form, and in Him you have been made complete.” Grace thus obviates any obligation to gain merit, and the law as a merit system is no longer applicable to a believer, since he is no longer “under law, but under grace” (Romans 6:14).

God is full of grace (Exodus 34:6)
God is slow to become angry (Psalm 86:15)
God’s grace makes salvation possible (Ephesians 1:7-8)
God accepts us by his grace (Ephesians 2:8-9)
God’s grace gives us hope (1 Peter 1:13)

JESUS CHRIST OUR LORD...

Jesus is all-powerful (Isaiah 9:6)
Jesus has authority over demons (Mark 1:27)
Jesus is the Son of God (Luke 1:35)
Jesus is God (John 1:1-5)
Jesus is the Messiah (John 4:25-26)
Jesus is the Judge (John 5:22)
Jesus gives life (John 10:10)
